These Terms of Service apply to the Ryppd app for Android, installed from Google Play. The iPhone app has its own Terms of Service.
These Terms of Service apply to your use of the Android app "Ryppd – AI Workout Planner" (including subscriptions purchased through Google Play). By registering, signing in, or making a purchase, you accept these terms.
The contract partner is David Zwirtmayr (repoff-support@dopaminedept.org). The app provides training planning, workout tracking, a strength ranking, and nutrition tracking, as well as AI features for adults (section 7). Details of the services are described in the app and in the app's Google Play store listing.
Certain features require signing in with Google or Apple. You provide accurate information and keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
The app is designed for adults; you may use it from the age of 16. The AI features are available only to people aged 18 and over (section 7).
Purchase. Subscriptions are purchased and processed exclusively through Google Play and charged to the payment method of your Google account. The Google Play Terms of Service apply, as well as the prices and durations shown in the app and in Google Play before you buy.
Free trial. If a free trial is offered, the subscription starts automatically when the trial ends and you are charged, unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Automatic renewal. A subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price until you cancel it.
Cancellation. You can cancel at any time in Google Play (Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Ryppd). The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; until then, you keep access to the premium features. Uninstalling the app or deleting your Ryppd account does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds. Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policies. You can also contact us. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Codes & other platforms. Promo codes are redeemed in Google Play. A subscription is tied to the store in which it was purchased: a subscription bought on iPhone through the App Store does not unlock the premium features of the Android app.
You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for personal use. You use the app lawfully, do not distribute illegal content, and do not circumvent technical protection measures.
The app lets signed-in users contribute food entries (name, manufacturer, nutrition values, serving sizes). Contributed entries become visible to other users in order to build a shared food database. By contributing, you confirm that your entries are accurate and that you are entitled to share them.
Display names. Your display name is visible to other users on leaderboards, in friend requests and in competitions. Display names must not be offensive, discriminatory or sexual, must not impersonate other people, and must not contain advertising, links or contact details.
Zero tolerance. Offensive, abusive, fraudulent, misleading or otherwise objectionable content — and abusive behaviour towards other users — are strictly prohibited. We may remove any content and suspend or block users who violate these rules, at our discretion and without prior notice.
Every contributed entry can be reported (wrong values, spam, or offensive content) and every contributor can be blocked directly in the app. Reports are reviewed and acted upon within 24 hours; content flagged as offensive is hidden immediately. When you delete your account, your user ID is removed from your contributions; the product data stays in the shared database without it (see the Privacy Policy, section 5).
Every display name can be reported (offensive name, spam or harassment) and every user can be blocked directly in the app, for example from the leaderboard, a friend request or a competition ranking. Blocking hides that person's name for you, removes them as a friend and cancels open friend requests between you. Reports are reviewed and acted upon within 24 hours: we may hide a profile from all leaderboards, remove its entries from competitions, and suspend the account.
The AI Coach and the AI meal-photo analysis are available only to people aged 18 and over and require a subscription. AI answers and nutrition estimates are generated automatically and can be incomplete or wrong. They are general fitness and nutrition information, not medical advice; for health questions, consult a doctor. Check estimates before you save them. You can report an AI answer directly in the app. How data is processed for the AI features is described in the Privacy Policy (section 8).
To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to intent and gross negligence, and to damages arising from injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence, David Zwirtmayr is liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations and only up to the foreseeable, typical damage.
We may update the app and these terms for important reasons. You will be informed of material changes. You may terminate the contract if you object. Account termination is done via the app or by contacting us (see Delete your account); a subscription must be cancelled separately in Google Play.
The law of the Republic of Austria applies. If any provision is invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.
